Public Area Attendant

Maintaining all public areas and ensuring cleanliness throughout the resort. Will also perform other miscellaneous jobs as requested by housekeeping supervisor/ manager. Maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment used by him/her.

Job Description: Maintaining all public areas and ensuring cleanliness throughout the resort. Will also perform other miscellaneous jobs as requested by housekeeping supervisor/ manager. Maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment used by him/her. He/She should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies and the hotel's procedures/standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hours of work:
  • A shift – 6 am to 2:30 pm
  • B shift – 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • C shift – 3 pm to 11:30 pm
• Must be physically Fit and have the ability to bend, stoop, and lift.
• Must be reliable; willing to work weekends and holidays
• Pick up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily. All keys must be signed for in the key sign-out log.
• Always be careful not to make excessive noise in the guest room areas. You never know when you may disturb a guest, and this applies at any time during the day or night.
• Responsible for all public areas. Please see attached for separate check list regarding each area.
